Yes...maybe not Alaska-Yukon Moose but other than that it'll be fine.

A good friend of mine hunts the Roosevelt elk with his. Uses a 150gr "premium" bullet.
I believe those big Roosevelt's are a bit tougher to bring down than the moose and caribou.

Yes, but it is on the light end of bullet weight. You could hand load the 160gr Partition bullet from Nolser.

I wouldn't even question the capability for caribou. and I'd say yes for moose, based on how potent mine was on a HUGE bodied bull last year.

Before I purchased my .270 WSM I asked a friend of mine ,who is a host on Versus , what game this round was adequate for. He told me he has used his .270 WSM to take every North American game except the larger bears which should be taken with a much larger round. With that info I will use mine with confidence for similar large game. Best wishes and hunting.
