If this has been a problem from the"get go" it would be a manufacturer flaw. Simply fixed by their service Dept and a chamber reamer ,if under warranty. Not a very big job at all.
A thorough chamber cleaning would be my first step

The wssm's are a very thick case. I have a .223 wssm and it does the same thing. The cases are so thick you about have to jump on the handle of you press to resize the darn things. I get smoked necks a lot. I shaved a little out of the neck and resized a couple of times and the smoking stopped, but I got split necks. The wssms are a reloading nightmare.
