remington catalogs it as core-lokt soft point, however, I found a box that was loaded with a 50 gr nosler ballistic tip. I checked into this with a major remington distributor in my area, and they claim that remington offers .221 ammo with 3 different bullet brands, however, they did not produce enough ammo, with a polycarbonate tip, to make a listing in their catalogs. As far as he knew, it was a "special order item" available to remington dealers, with a 2 case maximum order.I dunno, doesn't make a lotta sense, huh?

Hunting is not usually a pursuit where instant gratification abounds. It takes a lot of time, practice, resources and patience to be a successful hunter. So when someone decides that an area they hunted only once without taking an animal is worthless and devoid of game, I don't quite understand it. These people usually jump from game management unit to game management unit; trying a new one every year.
Now don't get me wrong, there are people that just enjoy scouting and hunting...
