220 Swift's Parent???

Hey this may be a dumb question but a buddy and I were trying to figure out the parent cartridge of the 220 Swift. Is it a wildcat or an original?

220 Swift's Parent???

After a little looking(actually a fair bit of looking!) I found an article that said the 220 swift was a necked down 6mm Lee Navy cartridge but it might be easier to find the swift cartridges. Thumbs up

The .408 Cheyenne Tactical is based on the .400 Taylor Magnum, which is based on a modified .505 Gibbs, necked down to 0.408 inches neener! neener! neener!

The E.L.A.I. round is a 17 caliber accelerator necked from a 50 BMG parent.
