I went 0 for 3 as well, I'm kinda mad though, the doe tag i put in for i had a 95% chance of drawing and still nothing, oh well maybe next year. It will actually work out though I'm gonna hunt OTC archery again this year for both Deer and Elk. I'm going to do a 10 day back pack wilderness hunt. My dad went 1 for 3 drawing the doe tag we applied for in whick makes no sence to me because i had 3 points and he only had 2 but thats how it goes sometimes. Next year he will have enough points for either Wenaha or Mt Emily elk hunt so he's already planning for that. Good luck to the rest of you.

I guess I need to start prepping for hauling a heavier load and a change in my rifle of choice.
From the books that I have read, there is a lot of importance in knowing every nook and cranny of your hunting territory as well as the animal that you are hunting. So scouting as much as possible, just walking the land, will give you a good idea of what's around the corner or what's on the other side of a hill. Which can be very beneficial.
