I cannot afford $200 dollars for a ticket, if they sold more tickets at lower price they would get more applicants. I dont think raffles like these should ONLY be available for the rich. If I won I could get the money for tag+lisence, but not gamble with $200.... $20
$200 is a very high price, more than I should spend, but I will make at least 2 entries. It sounds like the proceeds will benefit cancer treatment, and my wife, who supports me in all my outdoor activities even tho she can't participate, is a cancer survivor, so needless to say without state of the art equipment for treatment, I likely wouldn't have her. I am the fortunate one.
Here is the scenario... you sit in your 2 piece climbing stand and your foot inadvertently bumps the lower section while there is no weight on it - and it slides down the tree, out of reach!
OK, you are safe - you have a string tied from the upper section that you are sitting on and the foot portion that slid 4-5 feet down the tree. All you have to do it pull the other section up, reposition it and you are back in business, correct?
Have you ever tested this theory?
