5 Jan 08 Maryland
My 5 Does and my buddies 2 (which put him at 10 for the season). It was the Maryland late firearms season-I ended up down there on a business trip and took my 270 along for company... Staying over the weekend saved my employer big $ on flight costs so something I will do in the future!!!
We were finished by 10:30 am and spent the rest of the day/night processing! For a Northerner from NH, it was plain crazy...
TSA loved the meat filled luggage at Dulles not to mention the Rifle but did congratulate me
When calling coyotes, more often than not they will circle on a target they are
coming into and approach from the downwind side. Presumably they do this in
order to align what they smell, with what they are hearing.
This means that you should always have your downwind side camouflaged and have
an open shooting lane. If the area is heavily covered the coyote could come in
take a look and be gone, with you none the wiser.
