Congratulations to you both, those are very nice deer!  Make sure somebody gets those deers mounted for them, those are memories that will last a lifetime!

Thanks for the comments cuffs and raghorn ! :D  as far as them getting mounted there parents would not mount them, but I european all of the kids' deer every year. My sister did mount Daniels first bull elk though.A great OTC bull that he may never beat especially seeing as he took it with a bow.

Those kids should be really proud of those deer.  And so should you guys it is great to see kids out hunting with their families.

You say unit 61 and then a neighboring unit - were these taken on private land or public land and were they taken in Colorado?

Having the kids take them is superior, I always get a great deal of delight when I see something like that.

You appear to have a serious "hunting family" and I salute you!
