2 man tree stand suggestions...

Hey, I'm planning on taking a couple new hunters out with me this year and wanted some suggestions on a 2 person lean up tree stand. This will be their first time in the woods and they're not really woodsy type people. I need to find a COMFORTABLE treestand to show them the ropes. I'm not looking to spend hundreds of dollars so budget is important also.

I really want them to enjoy their first couple hunts and sitting in a uncomfortable tree stand for hours at a time might detour their thoughts of continuing to hunt.

thanks ahead of time for any help...

Thanks for the idea with the

Thanks for the idea with the camo. I use a climbing treestand myself and never really toted a lean-up into the woods. I almost always have to move my stand after finding the animals to dial in a good clear shot. This will be a bit harder with a leaner.

I'll check at wally world(yes I call it that too lol). Last time I was there they didn't have any hunting stuff up yet.

It's the "catfish hole" up in

It's the "catfish hole" up in richloam. Just a small creek that runs through a culvert under the road. Lot's of little catfish and brim in there.

I use a big game partner

I use a big game partner plus. It has plenty of room and I like the floor because it goes under the seat, great for extra storage. The seat is 15' high so you are high enough not to attract attention. I take my wife up on occasion and there is plenty of room. Just wrap fresh camo around the stand each season and you are good to go. I also have an umbrella style "roof" to keep out the rain.

thanks for all the advice

thanks for all the advice guys but it looks like my would be new hunters are going to back out on me this year. They've missed their last 2 hunter safety courses and don't think they are gonna make another one. Florida does offer one year of exempt hunting without a hunter safety card as long as your hunting together with someone who has one.

I was really looking forward to teaching some younger guys how I hunt but they just keep coming up with excuses on why they can't go out this year. Like the lack of gear and such. oh well I guess it will be one less pumkin in the pumkin patch this year lol. Maybe they will come around but who knows, kids these days...Confused
