1st disappointment in MA

I just wanted to let everyone know that I screwed up my first opportunity at a nice 8 pointer this MA archery season. I misjudged the yardage and over shot him by an inch! I'm sick to my stomach. Oh well, that's why they call it hunting.. not killing... right!
I am disgusted w/ myself though.
I hope everyone else has betterluck than I did..

Jonsey,
Saw another buck, couldn't get a shot. Then in came a doe. I drilled her right behind the shoulder but high and hit the other shoulder bone and didn't get a pass thru. Never found her.
Disappointment # 2!

Big E were you a little over anxious when you shot? two years ago i took a sweet shot at a doe and she dropped 4 inches, well needless to say nver hit her, the arrow went right over her back, missed by an inch. i was very upset with myself, so i can understand the dissapointment,(not to poke or anything). but good look in the future. :smile:
