Took my boy Rat Slayer down to the Rock river yesterday in search of any carp that might want him to shoot them. The river was really high, but we were able to find some carp sucking the floating scum that built up behind the log jam's. The carp were much bigger than the ones shot in the summer. The high waters probably brought in fish from deeper holes or lakes. Rat boy took 3 shots in the hour we were there. He nailed the 1st one, missed the 2nd and nailed a big 3rd fish but the 3rd one pulled the arrow out.
