1970's sneak boat

Check this out my new(to me) 1970's glass sneak boat... She's about 15' long and really wide. big enough for 2 people and some gear. With a little paint and a good grassing job she'll be ready to kill some birds. I got a hell of a deal on it I traded a singlehsot 20 guage NEF for it.

What do ya'll think??? was it worth the trade?

Did a cheap $12 aint job on

Did a cheap $12 paint job on the boat this morning. Used a homemade marsh grass stencil I also made a trolling motor mount to put a small trollin motor on. It looks pretty good and will be invisible once I brush it with some grass and palmmeto bushes. I'll be headed out friday morning to my wood duck hole.

definitely!

If she is water tight then she is definitely worth the trade.   Thumbs up

You scored a jackpot on that one.

Do you have any idea what those things cost if you bought a new one?

GREAT find!  And you added a pretty good paint job to boot!

Let us know how you make out with her afloat.

Mike

No leaks at all the glass is

No leaks at all the glass is in great condition. The only place that is dinged up is the front of the boat. This boat is super nice for one person and almost feels too big(maybe i just need more gear lol). It only treads about 2-3 inches of water, I can paddle through almost anything including thick grass.

I'm really happy with the boat but I havn't shot any ducks from it yet. Maybe in the morning I'll break her in right.Thumbs up

Excellent!

Woohoo for the sucessful float test!

It sure beats the heck out of the low riding canoe that I use to retrieve geese!

i'm in constant fear of swamping it every time I'm floating in those chilly waters in waterfowling season.

Good luck on the hunt and let us know how you make out!

First blood

Took a  couple woodies yesterday afternoon. Found the mother load of wood ducks but shooting light ended a little too soon. We will be back in the AM with lots of shells for a woodie smack down. Whistling
